ADVANCE READING CLUB - GET VOLUNTEER HOURS FOR READING!

This is your chance to read a book that hasn't been published yet - and get volunteer hours for it! Sign out one of our Advance Reading Copies at the Children's and Teen information desk, read it, and then write us a review.  You'll be helping out the library and getting a sneak peek at new titles!

For every 100 pages read you get 1 volunteer hour, plus another hour for each review (at least 200 words). So a 300 page book read and reviewed nets you 4 volunteer hours! Reviews will help us decide whether to buy the books for our collection when they get published.

TEEN ADVISORY GROUP (TAG)

Fourth Tuesday of every month, 3:30 pm

This group meets informally every month to talk about current books and movies, make suggestions for the library's collection, talk about teen programs and activities, and occasionally going on book buying trips!
