Using other InterLink Libraries

Public Library InterLINK is a group of primarily Lower Mainland libraries which have joined together to allow free borrowing of materials by each other’s residents. Residents of Public Library InterLINK communities can go to the other member libraries and register to borrow books.

Most libraries require that you show two pieces of ID, including one with your address on it. If you bring your home library card with you, they will register that number in their system. You need carry only one library card.

If you borrow from another InterLINK library, the borrowing policies at that library will apply to any materials you borrow from them, including return dates, borrowing limits and fines.

You may return materials from other InterLINK libraries at the New Westminster Public Library. We will send them back to the owing library for you, but suggest you return them by the due date to avoid overdue charges.
For more information about Public Library InterLINK, visit their web site at www.interlinklibraries.ca.

BC OneCard

Don’t leave home without your library card! Your New Westminster Public Library card opens the doors to libraries outside the InterLINK area too. Present your card and one other piece of ID with proof of address and you can borrow from that library and return items to any other public library in BC with the BC OneCard.
