Any person may use a maximum of 55 minutes per day on internet computers. There are no extensions available. You may use part of your time in one session and return later to use the rest, but must have at least five minutes of your time left to be able to log in.
Library computers are first come, first served.
To use them you need a valid NWPL library card (see Obtaining a Library Card) or a card from an InterLINK library that has been registered at NWPL (click here to see a map of InterLINK libraries).
Visitors from outside the area served by InterLINK may receive a guest pass, with identification showing their home address.
Printing is available (black and white, letter or legal size, single-sided only) for 20¢ per page.
Flash drives are for sale at the library. The computers do not support floppies, but library staff can transfer your files to a flash drive. CDs and DVDs require an external device which you can borrow from the Reference Desk.
WiFi and Laptop Use @ the Library
There are two wireless networks available at the library. NWPL-N2 is a free, unlimited wifi network with no password. LibraryWiFi is a city-run network available for 2 hours per day to a maximum of 30 patrons. The password is 3388.
Some study stations are wired for power and internet cabling, but they are not reserved for laptop users. Please try to have your laptop battery fully charged before you come to the library in case all study stations with power outlets are in use.

Use of the Internet is governed by our Internet Access Policy. For more information, please contact the Library.
