Meeting Rooms

The Library has three meeting rooms available for the public to use.

The Auditorium and the Plaskett Room are primarily for meetings conducted, initiated or co-sponsored by the Library.

  • The Auditorium and Plaskett Rooms are available free of charge to local organizations for meetings, and

  • Public programmes of a scientific, artistic, literary, civic or educational nature.

  • The meetings and programmes must not be for commercial purposes.

  • The Plaskett Room holds 15 to 20 people and The Auditorium holds approximately 75 people.

  • Qualified groups may book a room for a maximum of once per month, up to 3 months in advance.

The Group Study Room in the Reference Department is available for groups of 2 or more persons to study for a maximum of 2 hours per day. Sign-up must be done in person at the Reference Desk on the day of use.

Photocopiers

The Library has self-service black and white photocopiers available for public use. One is located on the main floor and one is upstairs in the Reference Department. Letter and legal size, single-sided copies are available, and cost $0.20 per page.


Microfilm Scanners

The library has two microfilm scanners which allow you to save an image from our microfilm collection to a flash drive. Library staff can assist you in emailing the images or printing them for $0.20 per page.
 

Tours

Tours of the Adult, Children's and Reference Departments are available for groups including job clubs and ESL. Please contact the Library at 604-527-4660.
