Library Book Sale
The Library has an ongoing book sale near the Fiction section on the main floor. Books are for sale whenever the Library is open.
Books, magazines, DVDs, CDs and videocassettes are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. We regret that we cannot put particular books or materials aside for individuals. The Library does not have a major annual book sale.
Donations may be brought to the Library at these times:
- 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the last Friday of the month
- 1 to 5 p.m. on the last Saturday of the month.
We accept:
- Clean books and magazines of current interest, in good condition, in English and French
-
CDs, DVDs and videocassettes
We do not accept:
- Textbooks
- Encyclopedias
- National Geographic magazines
- Magazines older than 2 years
- Books in languages other than English or French
- Reader’s Digest condensed books
- LPs and audio cassettes
Materials should be in boxes or bags, and marked as gifts to the New Westminster Public Library. Donors must be able to bring materials into the library without assistance.
