New Westminster Historical Society

Want to learn more about the history of the Royal City? The New Westminster Historical Society meets on the third Wednesday of every month.

Each month there is a presentation on a topic of local historical interest.

 

During library renovations the Historical Society meets at Century House at 620 8th St - just around the corner from NWPL's Main Branch, at 7:30 pm in the Spruce Room.

Miscellaneous Photographs - Once again, the Historical Society will start off the year with a program of miscellaneous historical photographs. Among the choices this year will be fires in the city’s history including the Great Fire of 1898.

Heritage Day 2019 - In keeping with the Historical Society’s tradition each year, this presentation will focus on the 2019 theme for Heritage Day/Week.
