SUMMER READING CLUB CLOSING CEREMONY

New Westminster City Hall (511 Royal Avenue)

Saturday August 25, 2018, 1:30pm

Come celebrate Summer Reading with a party at City Hall! Eat cake, shake hands with the Mayor, and show off your reading medals.

Don't have your medal yet? No rush! Last check-in for stickers/prizes/medals is Sunday, September 30, 2018 (while supplies last)

Please note that ALL Main Branch Children's programming will be off-site as the Library's main floor is under renovation until Spring 2019.

 

BABYTIME (ages 0-23 months)

Sing songs, learn rhymes, and hear stories for babies! No registration required.

PRESCHOOL STORYTIME (ages 2-5 years)

Read, sing, and move at storytime! No registration required.

READING BUDDIES (ages 6-9 years)

Children who are starting to read on their own are paired with a teen volunteer for reading practice and fun word games once a week. Registration in-person at the library is required, starting September 1.

FUN - LITERALLY! (ages 8-12)

This is an after-school program where we play games, do activities, and have fun together! No registration required.

YOUNG READERS' BOOK CLUB (ages 9-12 years)

Join the book club! We read a different book every month, then meet to discuss. Registration is required, starting September 1.
