eBook Help

During phase two of our renovation project, while the second floor is closed, there will be some changes in public technology and technology assistance at the library.

We  will do our best to offer computer assistance on a drop-in basis as much as possible, but we won’t be able to book one-on-one appointments during this phase due to lack of space.

The Library offers free one-on-one eBook tutorials at our Queensborough Branch. The tutorials last 45 minutes and are by appointment only. Alternatively, you can drop by anytime during our opening hours and we will do our best to assist you with any ebook related questions.

What we will help you with:

  • eBook orientation
  • Downloading software required to read eBooks and digital audiobooks
  • How to search for, borrow, download and return library eBooks and digital audiobooks
  • How to use your eReader/mobile device to read eBooks and listen to digital audiobooks
  • eBook/eReader troubleshooting

Practise with the library's devices:

  • iPad
  • Kobo Touch
  • Sony Reader

or bring in your Android, Apple, Kobo or Sony device.
