To authenticate into lynda.com go to http://lynda.com/portal/sip?org=nwpl.ca or lynda.com, and use the organization login option (type in nwpl.ca to go to the above listed URL). Once you have logged into lynda.com with your library barcode and PIN, you must create a personalized account which only requires your name and e-mail address.
Lynda.com is available 24/7 on any computer or mobile device with internet connectivity, using a web browser.
All you need to do is to create an account using your library card registered with NWPL.
Lynda.com app is available for Windows, Apple, and Android desktop and mobile devices. Download the app and follow these steps:
- under the “Organization” tab type in nwpl.ca and click on Login – please note that you’ll be taken out of the app to login through the website
- enter your library card number and PIN (last 4 digits of your phone number).
- use the app like you would the website, or download videos for offline viewing
