Canadian Library Month
October is Canadian Library Month! During this month, libraries and library partners across Canada raise awareness of the valuable role libraries play in Canadians’ lives. This year’s theme is Loud for Libraries / Haut et fort pour les bibliothèques and to celebrate we are asking you to give New Westminster Public Library a big shout-out!
Throughout October you can give us a shout-out in any one of the following ways:
- Post a selfie. Maybe reading a book or sitting in your favourite place in the library — or both? Mention us @nwplibrary and include the hashtag #CanadianLibraryMonth to be sure we see it.
- Email us. Send your shout-out in a message to askus@nwpl.ca
- Visit us in person. Submit your thoughts on a slip provided at the welcome desk of both branches.
