Climate Action Week

Join us November 2nd to 8th, 2026 at the New Westminster Public Library as we participate in Climate Action Week in BC Libraries! We have planned a number of programs throughout the week, highlighting environmental awareness and climate action.

We also have a special event on November 15th, just after Climate Action Week, but close enough to be included. Seth Klein will talk about Mobilizing Canada for the Climate Emergency.

You’ll also find displays of books in our branches to learn about climate change. Our aim is to help our community learn about climate science and change some of our climate anxiety into hope through action.
