Financial Literacy: Saving and Investing

In partnership with Family Services of Greater Vancouver, join us to learn more about the Canadian system of saving and investing.

Want to save for your future but unsure of where to begin? We’ll walk you through the types of registered investment vehicles (like RRSPs, TFSAs, RESPs, RDSPs, and FHSAs) and investment options like GICs, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and index funds. You’ll walk away knowing how to navigate the benefits, risks, and fees to figure out which best fit your goals.

This workshop will be offered in a hybrid model – it will be presented in person at the Main Branch of the Library or you can attend from home via Zoom. The Zoom link will be sent to all participants a few days before the session. The session will not be recorded. Registration required.
