Things Are Looking Up On Our 2nd Floor

After a quick hiatus for a spring refresh, we’ve reopened our 2nd floor at Main Branch on schedule — and all services upstairs have resumed.

We are excited to welcome you back and reveal the addition of more new desktop computers for public use, as well as a physical reconfiguration of all computer workstations, which opens up space for all users to move about more freely.

A couple of the computer workstations are now also height-adjustable, increasing their accessibility. And three of the workstations have been set up to be comfy for two, meaning if you’re working on a project with a friend or family member, there is sufficient room for both of you at the desk. Meanwhile, one creation station remains, connected now to all legacy media peripherals — including vinyl turntable, VCR, and photograph scanner.

Finally our print release station has been moved to a new, clearly demarcated location, one actually closer to the service counter. We continue to offer printing, copying and scanning on site.
