New Westminster Public Library is highlighting environmental awareness and climate action during Climate Action Week November 2nd to 8th, 2024.

We have put together a full week of programs for all ages, including adults, teens and children. We intend these programs to be practical, hopeful, and locally-sourced.

Climate Action Week 2023

Climate Action Week organizers recognize and respect that New Westminster is on the unceded and unsurrendered land of the Halkomelem-speaking peoples.
We acknowledge that colonialism has made invisible their histories and connections to the land.

As cultural programmers, we are learning and building relationships with the people whose lands we are on.
