Join the Teen Summer Reading Club!

June 16-September 14, 2025

All students who have completed grade 6 or above are invited to join our Teen Summer Reading Club. Pick up your reading log from the library, and earn a badge for every seven days of reading you do this summer!

There are weekly prize draws for all participants as well as a grand prize draw in September. Your reading log also includes fun challenges that you can do to earn more chances to win!

Visit nwpl.ca/src to learn more.

Join your friends at the library this summer! Summer Reading Club is a fun, FREE program that encourages children to read while school is out.

Children earn a sticker for every week that they read at least 15 minutes a day. Everyone who reads for 7 weeks (or more!) will earn the Summer Reading Club medal!

All Summer Reading Club participants will also be entered into a draw to win more fun prizes.

Register and pick up your reading log in person at your nearest library, or join the province-wide online program at bcsrc.ca. You can also find contests, activities, and more at this website.

Visit nwpl.ca/src to learn more.

This event will be presented in person at the New Westminster Public Library, and broadcast live via Zoom. All registered attendees will receive the Zoom link. Unfortunately the event will not be recorded.

Do you love chatting about books? Join our Bring Your Own (BYO) Book Club and come and chat about your current reads. Whether you loved it or hated it, there’s always something to say about the book you’re reading, and here’s your chance to share recommendations with others without following a regular book club schedule.

This event is drop-in.
