Interlibrary loan
Can’t get to another library? We can try to borrow an item for you from another library within Canada. This is called an interlibrary loan.
You can request an interlibrary loan using the Illume service. On the Illume page you’ll find instructions for how to submit your request.
Borrow directly from other libraries
Did you know you can visit nearby libraries, register your NWPL library card with them, and then borrow their materials directly?
In addition, once you’re done with your items, you can return them to to us and we will send everything back to the owning library for you.
