COVID-19: Library Information

UPDATE: April 8, 2022

As of Friday, March 11, 2022 the province of British Columbia no longer requires the wearing of masks to enter or use the library, though we encourage all to do what is best to ensure their safety. As of April 8, 2022 vaccine cards are no longer required for attendance at library programs.

Note: If you have travelled internationally the Government of Canada requires adults and children to wear a well-constructed and well-fitting mask when in public spaces, both indoors and outdoors, for 14 days following entry into Canada. Find out more at travel.gc.ca.

We are aware that community health measures may change in the future, and we will amend this information and our procedures as needed through time.

Programs and In-person Meetings:

The library is preparing to return staff to work stations and as a result looks forward to opening access to some of our meeting rooms. We will also be returning to in-person programming and look forward to welcoming the community back into the library. For information about current programming, please visit our calendar of events at www.nwpl.ca/events.

Need a vaccine card?

While not currently required to attend programs in the library, you may need a vaccine card for those business that continue to require them, or for travel.  If you would like help getting your Vaccine Card library staff can help! Come to the 2nd floor iConnect desk and we will help you print your proof of vaccination.
