As of September 22, both branches are open!

As we continue to restore library services, we are happy to welcome customers back to the Queensborough branch. Our Main branch has been open since August 4th and our Queensborough branch opened September 22, 2020!

With the opening of the 2nd branch, we continue to work with our public health partners to implement the Library’s WorkSafe BC COVID-19 Safety Plan. We’ve also consulted heavily on best practices, with a commitment to adjust our procedures through time as we  learn how best to adapt to our ‘new normal’. Please also refer to the City of New Westminster COVID-19 Safety plan for further details about how the City is guiding our efforts to reopen safely.
